When printing drilldown reports or reports with expandable regions, up to now the preview control was emptied and afterwards the drilldown report was rendered into the empty control.
In LL24, we made a small but powerful change that yields a much better user experience. The preview is exchanged seamlessly in the background, i.e. the window isn’t refreshed before the new content is available. This prevents the control from flickering and just feels a lot better and responsive when navigating drilldowns.
It’s certainly one of those “let me see what it looks like” features, so without any further ado – here we go:
